Taito Ward has flourished as a town for the common people and the birthplace of Edo culture since the Edo period, and even today, it has some of the best historical sites and culture in Tokyo that still retain the image of Edo, such as shrines and temples from that time, a stylish and cool town character, and a traditional craft industry cultivated by artisans.
We will be holding the "Taito Ward Traditional Craftsmen Exhibition" to introduce the handicrafts of artisans that have been nurtured and passed down in such a history and climate.
At this exhibition, you can experience the wonderfulness of traditional crafts that have the warmth of the hands that mass-produced products do not have.
